The headset launch is accompanied by a media campaign, which is named #streammetstyle ('stream in style') and features Dutch Top Model winners Loiza Lamers and Montell van Leijen together with Taminiau. The campaign was created in collaboration with digital agency, Code D'azur.

Cilesta van Doorn, managing director marketing at Tele2 said: "Experiencing a fashion show, a pop concert or another live event remotely with 360 ° video image is becoming increasingly popular. Both software and hardware are making great progress. This also has a considerable impact on our daily lives. The collaboration with Jan Taminiau, which is designed to underline the social impact of smartphones and gadgets, fits this development perfectly. "

Jan Taminiau, couturier and designer Tele2 VR Headset, said: "With this design, I want to stimulate reflective interaction, since it is especially because of all the technology in our lives, that we have to keep the world around us accessible for one other."

The Virtual Reality headset features a 7-inch HD screen, which is integrated at the front. The limited edition VR headsets is not available via retail, but can be won by fans via sweepstakes.
