Feb 27 - Tesco, Britain's biggest retailer, is to launch a 200 million pound ($322.4 million) campaign to lower prices on some products, starting Monday.

"Tesco will lower prices on more than 1,000 everyday products across our stores - from rice and tea to bleach and washing powder," the company, also the world's No.3 retailer, said in a statement.
The price campaign comes just over a month after Tesco missed Christmas sales forecasts as winter weather hit purchases of non-food goods.
