After two openings in Beijing, it is now Taipei's turn. The historic Milanese confectionery-pastry shop Cova, acquired by LVMH in 2013, has announced in a press release the opening of its first café-restaurant as well as of a gift store in the heart of the Taiwanese capital, inside the luxurious Breeze Center.

The press release stated that "This opening marks a further step forward in our regeneration and internationalisation plan, which has become more vigorous since 2013 with the acquisition of a majority shareholding stake by the LVMH group."

Cova's presence in Asia dates back 20 years, through franchising agreements notably in China - from the early 1990s in Hong Kong and then in Shanghai from 2010 - and in Japan too.
