A first for the Mediterranean Fashion Prize (MFP): the 2016 edition will feature an ambassador. The young designers' competition launched in 2010 by the Maison Méditerranéenne des Métiers de la Mode (the Mediterranean house of fashion trades, MMMM) has chosen Valentine Gauthier for the role. The designer, born in the South of France, was herself discovered in a competition ten years ago, the Dinard Festival.

The jury will feature representatives of the Marseilles fashion world, but also international members voting remotely, giving a new overseas dimension to this edition of the MFP.
