Gross sales have also experienced a double-digit surge, although the exact percentage of this figure was not disclosed by The North Face.

The label owes its success in the country to the commercial blooming of international companies in the area, as well as the increase of outdoor recreation. Also the worldwide adoption of sportswear as casualwear has played an important role.

The North Face has eight directly-owned stores in Colombia, including in Bogotá, Medellín, Manizales and Chía, and is currently negotiating a major retail deal with Colombian department stores to reach a wider audience.
