This year the Summer School of the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM, the French Fashion Institute) will add to its curriculum for current and recently graduated students and young professionals, offering them two new programmes from 11th to 22nd July.

Besides the anglophone 'Dual City' course in partnership with London's Central Saint Martins for fashion school students, and two courses in French, 'Management et culture de mode' (fashion management and culture) and 'Marketing de la mode et processus créatif' (fashion marketing and the creative process), IFM will add two new English-language programmes.

The first is called 'Fashion Luxury Management' and will take a look behind the scenes of the fashion and luxury goods world through a series of workshops, courses and visits, led by IFM teachers and professional experts.

The other is called 'A French cultural experience: fashion, gastronomy, perfumes' and is designed as an immersion into the French culture of fashion, cuisine and fragrances. The course was developed in partnership with the La Fabrique fashion trades and decorative arts school, and it includes courses, visits and workshops, notably at the Ferrandi cookery school and the ISIPCA fragrance academy.

At the same time, the IFM will continue to offer one-week courses for secondary school students in June, July and October: 4 programmes ranging from an overview of the fashion world, to fashion creativity, to branding and communications and a fourth one in 'fashion English', called 'Do you speak Fashion English?'.

Scholarships may be granted on social grounds for these courses.
