Tommy Hilfiger and Blauer are adding a preppy touch to premium work wear. The two American labels have joined forces for a collection comprising four models of jackets, each with a run of 200 pieces. It’s a first – which a lot of work has gone into.

“Each piece is made with the finest cotton, finished by hand and using goose down. These are unique materials which stand up to the test of time”, explained Tommy Hilfiger in a statement. “We have also numbered each item on the inside pocket, making each piece a collector’s item”.

The collaboration with Blauer, whose Italian owner Enzo Fusco also owns CP Company, caters for both men and women with two different styles. The premium items will be on sale in Tommy Hilfiger stores in Europe, the United States and Japan, as well as on the brand’s website as of 14th September. Until now, the PVH Corp-owned label has tended to focus on capsule collections and collaborations with the art world.
