True Religion taps Supreme for second collaboration
True Religion announced on Tuesday it has once again partnered with streetwear giant Supreme, for a 22-piece collaboration set to debut next month.
The new True Religion X Supreme collection is an update on the pair's Fall 2021 collaboration and features True Religion design elements such as the Super T stitch, distinctive hardware, and horseshoe logo. The Fall 2022 collection boasts performance-inspired fits, which are intentionally oversized and relaxed, consisting of the Gore-Tex Shell Jacket, Zip Up Hooded Sweatshirt, Gore-Tex Pant, Sweatpant and Gore-Tex Trooper Hat.
The collaboration also sees the return of the potassium spray wash technique which worked its way onto the heavy fleece fabric in the duo's 2021 collaboration.
“We’re thrilled to partner once again with Supreme to offer True Religion-inspired Supreme apparel," said Michael Buckley, CEO, True Religion.
"So many of True Religion’s innovations have taken on iconic status—like our Super T Stitch, distinctive hardware, and horseshoe logo. We’re honored to see these elements incorporated into Supreme’s collection.”
Supreme’s collaboration with True Religion for Fall 2021 included a Denim Trucker Jacket, Hooded Sweatshirt, Denim Cargo Pant, Beanie, and 6-Panel hat. Other Supreme collaborations have included artists, musicians and designers from Nike to Comme des Garçons and more.
The True Religion X Supreme collection is available exclusively at Supreme stores and Supremenewyork.com from December in the U.S. and December 3 in Japan.
Earlier this month, Supreme revealed its first store opening in Chicago.
