Ugg soars on StockX, N. America and UK are top markets

Ugg is riding a powerful trend wave at present and sneaker and collectibles business StockX said that the brand is seeing a huge resurgence that’s driving activity on its platform.

Ugg x Telfar

Ugg trades on StockX have soared in the last three months. And highlighting both the importance of collaborations and the need to select the right partners for these link-ups, it added that the “much-loved Telfar collab is also still immensely popular with trades up 10x” over that period.

That’s significant as Ugg “barely traded on StockX a year ago, and trades were low for most of 2021”. But in Q4, trade growth exploded, and StockX has seen “record demand [in] the last few months”.

There are over 100 different Telfar products that actively trade on StockX, including over 40 Ugg x Telfar collabs. The most traded Ugg product this year so far is the Telfar x Ugg Shopping Bag Small Chestnut that has been traded over 3,000 times. Products are trading with an average 27% price premium.

But Ugg trades excluding Telfar are also up 600% in the last three months, showing that it's not only a link with an in-demand luxury name that’s adding the magic to the brand. The most traded non-Tel far product is the Ugg Classic Ultra Mini Chestnut with an average price of $170, a 20% price premium.

The top market for Ugg products is the US, followed by Canada, with the UK in third place.
