Sportswear brand Under Armour hasn’t slowed down on its expansion in Brazil. On the contrary, the brand has announced that it will strengthen its presence in the country, starting with a revamp of its website.

The company decided to perform the redesign in-house, which was previously assigned to a third party. In addition to a new layout, the site will also welcome new products.

“The launch of the new online store is a fundamental step in Under Armour’s expansion. It will allow local consumers more interaction and access to all of our products lines. Our goal is to offer a fast, efficient shopping experience, keeping in line with the most innovative sports company in the world,” stated senior manager of Under Armour Brazil.

Under Armour products are already carried by 1,300 multi-brand stores in Brazil, which the brand will now expand through the opening of new stores. In the past month, the brand opened factory outlets in Outlet Premium Brasília and in Só Marcas Outlet, both of which are located in the Brazilian province of Minas Gerais. The brand counts eight of its own stores across the country.

“The stores’ arrival follows the expansion strategy in the retail market on two fronts: the company-owned stores, which strengthens the image of the brand with pieces from the latest collection, and the outlet stores, which offer items from past collections, but with the same shopping experience as in Under Armour,” explained Fernando, Reani, commercial director for Under Armour Brazil.

“The main line is also essential in allowing us to expand with our retail partners, expanding the integrated business across all channels,” he added.
