Vanessa Bruno is testing the waters in New York. The Parisian designer and her brand are looking to take the first step in conquering the Big Apple in February by opening a pop-up store. While the search goes on for a permanent location, the pop-up store will be SoHo from the 6 to 28 February. At 131 Greene Street, Vanessa Bruno will have a 5000 square foot of space to make an impression on the city.

The French concept store will carry the brand’s Spring-Summer 2013 collection on the first floor, making space for third-party vendors like Ladurée, Bernard Chaveau Editions and MK2. The floor above will be fashioned into a showroom, welcoming American clients for the presentation of the Vanessa Bruno Autumn-Winter 13/14 collection. ‘Surprise’ events are said to be scattered throughout the three weeks that the store will be open.

Though she may not have a store in New York, the United States has been an attraction for the designer over the past few seasons. Vanessa Bruno opened a west-coast store in Los Angeles in 2010 and should a permanent New York location be found, the opening will be the brand’s 15th worldwide, four of which are owned by the brand.
