The label founded by Demna Gvasalia is continuing its experiments in the world of ready-to-wear fashion by shaking up the Fashion Week schedule a little more. In January, Vetements will reportedly stage its fall/winter 2018 coed fashion show during Paris Men's Fashion Week, according to the Chambre syndicale de la mode masculine (men's fashion chamber), in its publication of the fashion houses entering or returning to the official fashion week calendar for January 2018.

Vetements should be showing on January 19, combining fall/winter 2018 menswear and womenswear. This will suit Demna Gvasalia, who is also the creative director of Balenciaga, as the French luxury house has just announced that it will not show in January, preferring to opt for a co-ed show during the womenswear week in March.

Founded in 2009 by Gvasalia, Vetements shows always grab headlines, either by the choice of location (a gay club, a restaurant, a mall), by the brand's desire to challenge the codes of the fashion world, or by its choice of models, shunning the industry's standard perceptions of beauty.

Paris Men's Fashion Week runs January 17-21, 2018, and is followed by Haute Couture Week, January 22-25.
