Vogue magazine is once again staging the Vogue Fashion Festival in Paris, a series of conferences attempting to shed light on the future of the fashion and luxury industries. The 2018 edition of the Festival, designed to appeal to industry professionals and fashion aficionados alike, is scheduled on November 9 and 10, and is organised in partnership with Swarovski.

Virgil Abloh, designer of Off White and Creative Director of Louis Vuitton Homme - Louis Vuitton

Held at the elegant Potocki Palace venue, the event will explore the new frontiers of fashion, in terms of geography, technology and generational appeal. Among the guests invited to share their views and experiences there are top industry executives, creative directors and influencers. The Festival will kick off on Friday morning with Sidney Toledano, CEO of the LVMH group, who will discuss the future of luxury, before handing over to Clare Waight Keller, the creative director of Givenchy. Then, Virgil Abloh, founder of Off-White, will feature in a panel discussion with Alexandre Arnault, CEO of Rimowa, about the all-powerful millennials. In the afternoon, it will be the turn of guest speakers Grégory Boutté, chief client & digital officer at Kering; Paolo de Cesare, CEO of Printemps; and Lili Chen, general manager of Tmall Luxury Pavilion.

The following day, the future of the beauty industry will be outlined by Edgar Huber, CEO of the Coty group, followed by Liya Kebede (model and founder of ethical fashion label Lemlem) and designer Christelle Kocher, talking about new materials. The creative director of Christian Dior, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and influencer Chiara Ferragni - who worked together on several big projects - will then discuss the issue of business and social media. They will be followed by model Ashley Graham, who will talk about the new criteria of beauty, and Lucien Pagès, founder of the eponymous French PR agency, who will analyse how labels manage their communication and brand image.

Attending the event costs from €65 for half a day for students, to €750 for two days for business executives.
