Beauty specialist Warpaint London announced a new retail deal on Monday with the firm having signed up to distribute two of its brands via general merchandise value retailer Wilko.

The company, which owns brands including W7 and Technic, said some of the firm’s products will be available in Wilko’s UK branches from mid-September.

But the deal isn’t for its flagship W7 label. Instead, around 100 items from the firm’s exclusive Body Collection, designed in partnership with Wilko, will be stocked in 355 of its stores. And it will also see over 115 different Technic branded products stocked in 189 branches.

The group's products will be displayed on bespoke display stands in prime in-store locations and they will also be sold on Wilko’s website. Looking ahead, the company expects a range of Technic and Body Collection gift sets to be stocked in Wilko stores for the Christmas shopping period.

Warpaint CEO Sam Bazini said: “This is the latest development in our strategy to increase the presence of the group's brands with leading retailers in the UK and internationally. Wilko, with their UK-wide presence and focus on providing quality products that solve their customers' needs, is an ideal retail partner for Warpaint.

Significant parts of the UK market remain largely unexploited by Warpaint and we continue to seek new channels through which to sell our products. The agreement comes on the back of the successful start to sales of the group's W7 products through Tesco and we look forward to reaching agreement with other leading retailers in due course.”
