As We fashion’s Chief Product Officer, Corcoran will be responsible for buying, merchandising and design for all product departments. The retailer said that the promotion of Corcoran enables the company ‘to implement a more coordinated product vision, with the specific needs of the company’s different customer groups as the most important starting point.’

Over the past five years, Corcoran led We Fashion’s childrenswear department. According to the retailer, the department noted its best results in that time period. Prior to leading the children’s department, Corcoran was co-responsible for the women’s department at We on an interim basis. Before joining We, Corcoran also gained experience in menswear, as he held various positions at Arcadia’s Burton in the United Kingdom.

Joris Aperghis, CEO at We Europe, said in a press release: “We are very happy that Ivon will fulfill this new role and are confident that he will do this successfully.”

Ivon Corcoran added: “I am very enthusiastic about this new challenge. I look forward to translating my passion for product into greater successes for We as a brand.”

We Fashion offers collections for men, women and children. The Dutch retailer, which employs about 2,500 people, operates 220 stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Luxembourg and Switzerland. The international distribution center and the company’s head office are based in Utrecht.
