WestGroupe appoints new sales director for central US

The Canadian eyewear group has appointed Christopher Mullen as Sales Director for its WestGroupe USA subsidiary's central sales region, based in Oklahoma. The appointment follows that of Kevin Lindl as Sales Director for the USA's West Coast six months ago.

"We are sure that Chris's 19-year-plus experience in sales management in the eyewear sector, and his know-how and communication skills, will help him drive his team to new achievements," commented Dennis Davis, Vice-President Sales of WestGroupe USA.

"I am delighted to join the WestGroupe team and I can't wait to contribute to the constant expansion of the group's business in the central US region, and to lead my team to beat its targets," said Christopher Mullen.

WestGroupe owns four brands, led by Kliik Denmark, the Canadian group's most renown brand and leader in sales, launched in 2003 and targeted to fashion hipsters and children. The comapny's portfolio also includes Fysh UK, Evatik and Superflex, all produced and distributed by the Wescan subsidiary, created in 1998 to distribute the Hello Kitty, New Balance Kids and Stepper eyewear in Canada. The group's other subsidiary is WestGroupe USA. The other brands distributed and/or produced by WestGroupe are Spy, àle by Alessandra, Perry Ellis, Bertelli, Tony Hawk Kids (the most recently acquired licence), Elizabeth Arden, Jill Stuart and Izumi.
