Wolford's new senior management structure is taking shape. The Austrian high-end hosiery and lingerie group is currently seeking new majority shareholders, and is going through a comprehensive reorganisation. After former CEO Ashish Sensarma left last July, replaced by Axel Dreher, there has been a re-shuffle at the top of the group's supervisory board.

Claudia Beermann - Wolford

On 18th September, Claudia Beermann was appointed as the board's new president. Beerman has been the Vice-President of Wolford's supervisory board since September 2014, and is also the CFO of Austrian tourism and hotel group FMTG. Her appointment meant that a new vice-president also had to be picked, and the choice fell on Thomas Tschol. Tschol, a director at Vienna-based management consultancy firm Management Factory, was not yet a member of Wolford's supervisory board.

These new appointments are intimately linked with future shareholding changes, as the board's former President, Antonella Mei-Pochtler, stepped down because she is preparing to lead a take-over bid, as FashionNetwork.com reported a few weeks ago.
