Wrangler releases Queen-inspired Bohemian Rhapsody collection

In homage to the iconic fashion moments of the late Queen frontman Freddie Mercury, denim brand Wranger has launched a Bohemian Rhapsody capsule collection.

Available now online, prices range from $39 to $159. - Via Wrangler

Made in collaboration with music lifestyle brand Lyric Culture, the collection features t-shirts, jeans, and jackets adorned with Queen lyrics from hit songs like "Don't Stop Me Now," "Crazy Little Thing Called Love," and "Bohemian Rhapsody." Prices range from $39 to $159.

Designed with a slightly vintage flavor, the collection's denim draws from the relationship Wrangler has with the legendary singer - Mercury wore a pair of the brand's jeans during Queen's Live Aid performance in 1985, widely considered to be one of the band's greatest performances.

An added boost of publicity, the capsule's debut follows the release of the Queen biographical film Bohemian Rhapsody, which has already earned roughly $50 million at the domestic box office on its opening weekend.

The Bohemian Rhapsody collection's release also comes just days after Wrangler announced CMA New Artist of the Year Jon Pardi as the face of Wrangler Retro, reinforcing the brand's affiliation with the music industry.

"Since 1947 we've partnered with legendary recording artists, supported music festivals and events all around, and for us we view both music and our brand as a connector," Jenni Broyles, vice president and general manager of Wrangler Modern Lifestyle said in an interview with Billboard. "We've been on the likes of George Strait and Garth Brooks, but we've also been on the likes of Jimi Hendrix and Lady Gaga."

The collection is available now exclusively on Wrangler's website.
