Yara Shahidi has landed a major new role with the beauty giant Bobbi Brown.

The "Black-ish" actress and activist has been unveiled as the makeup label's newest recruit, and has been busy filming a video clip in which she talks about her personal 'beauty truths'. "Rather than redefine beauty, let's undefine it," she tells that camera.

Shahidi is not the only famous face joining the Bobbi Brown family this week -- the label has also snapped up the fashion designer and former child star Elizabeth Olsen as an ambassador, as well as the Chinese actress NiNi.

The trio of new faces are helping Bobbi Brown launch its brand-new 'Confident Beauty' campaign, featuring its 'Skin Long-Wear Weightless Foundation' and 'Intensive Skin Serum Foundation' collections -- the first of which is being expanded to include an additional 12 shades.

"I think the brand represents what my generation represents: The importance of inclusion," said Shahidi of her new role. Olsen said, "It's incredible to be part of a brand that has been so consistent and true to its identity in an industry that's so inconsistent," while NiNi added that she associates Bobbi Brown products with "effortless New York spirit and the limitless feeling of confidence."
