Yoox: Alex Alexander new Chief Information Officer

The management team at Yoox is beefing up. The Italian fashion e-tailer has announced its appointment of Alex Alexander as its new Chief information officer, a key role for the group, which is getting ready to merge with Net-a-Porter.

In his new position, the executive will lead all of Yoox’s technology functions. "He will be responsible for the development of avant-garde solutions and processes to accompany the growing needs of the business," the company said in a press release.

Alex Alexander previously worked at Wal-Mart Global eCommerce for three years. He has extensive experience as a consultant in the technology and multi-channel sectors within major multinationals, including Barclays Bank.
