According to local media reports, Zara is opening this fall on the lower level of the Nordstrom wing. The store will occupy a space of 31,000 square feet and showcase the brand’s men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, shoes and accessories.

Zara, part of Inditex, has more than 80 stores in the US, including locations in Menlo Park Mall in Edison, Newport Centre Mall in Jersey City and Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus.

The US is set to become an important driver of growth for the brand, which has announced plans to open between 12 and 15 stores annually in this market. In October 2016, Inditex chairman and CEO Pablo Isla said the US offers the company great potential for growth both in terms of physical stores and digitally.

Inditex’s expansion strategy in the US has focused on opening new stores in major cities and shopping centers. The group is also planning to open a new Zara store at Cherry Hill Mall in November.
