Anta’s revenue jumps 24.7%
Chinese sportswear retailer, Anta Sports Products Ltd, announced on Tuesday its 2015 financial results.
For the first time, Anta surpassed the 10 billion yuan mark. Revenue increased by 24.7 percent on year and attained 11.1 billion yuan (1.5 billion euros).
A statement signed by Anta’s Chairman, Ding Shizhong, says the results are “not only due to the growing demand for our differentiated value-for-money ANTA products, but also due to notable growth in other businesses, such as ANTA Kids, Fila and e-commerce businesses.”
For the year ended in December, gross profit margin increased by 1.5 percent point to 46.6 percent.
Anta’s rival, Chinese sportswear retailer, Li Ning, said earlier it expects to break even in 2015.
