Apple Watch: the countdown is on

Mar 28, 2015

Apple sure knows how to keep us on our toes. On Friday, the computer giant unveiled what it calls the creative barrier that stood in front of the future Apple Watch stores in the Galeries Lafayette in Paris and at Selfridges in London (after Isetan in Tokyo). But customers will have to wait another two weeks, namely 10 April, to see the products!

Indeed, it is only then that the collection will be viewable in these three stores and in Apple Stores in 9 countries (Germany, Australia, Canada, China, the US, France, Hong-Kong, Japan and the UK). Customers will be able to test out the products and even place pre-orders on the online Apple Store.

But, the new products won't be available for purchase until 24 April. This will be the case in the Apple Stores and at certain licensed Apple resellers in China and Japan, and at the Galeries Lafayette, Isetan and Selfridges, of course, but also in certain reference stores round the world, such as Colette in Paris, Dover Street Market in London and Tokyo, Maxfield in Los Angeles and The Corner in Berlin.
The brand is doing everything it can for this launch to promise an "unforgettable shopping experience". An experience on par with the exceptional character of the product being sold.

The Apple Watch will be available in three versions. In the UK, the Apple Watch Sport will retail at £299 and £339; the Apple Watch, from £479 to £949 euros. And finally the Apple Watch Edition, with an 18-carat yellow or rose gold case, starting at £8,000.
