Boucheron opens Hong Kong concept store

Boucheron is making a mark on Hong Kong with its new concept store. The new concept is actually a model that will be replicated across all the brand’s stores starting with an overhaul in Paris. Located on Hong Kong’s luxurious Pedder Street, the flagship store measures more than 850 square feet and was designed luminosity in mind, an important concept in the brand’s history. The story goes that Frédéric Boucheron opened his first atelier on Paris’ Place Vendome in 1893 because the workshop was flooded with light that highlighted the brilliance of the stones. The store in Hong Kong contrasts the modern and the traditional, evocative of the brand’s famous Quatre ring, equally loved by men and by women.

Light, modernity and the traditional are all celebrated in the new concept store

"It is with great pleasure and pride that we are opening our new concept store in Hong Kong, in the heart of Asia Pacific,” said Pierre Bouissou, CEO of Boucheron. “It is a key region in which Boucheron will continue to show its savoir-faire and rich heritage.” PPR’s oldest asset will attempt to seduce a new Asian clientele, after winning over Beijing and Shanghai.

In an attempt to integrate locally, Boucheron has started to use Weibo (local Twitter equivalent) to help welcome new clients to the brand.
