Sitoy Retailing will open the first Bruno Magli shop-in-shop in the SOGO department store at Causeway Bay in Hong Kong in August 2016 and will follow the opening with at least 15 mono-branded store openings in China. Bruno Magli Partners will follow by launching e-commerce in Japan this September. Additional stores are slated to open in 2017 and beyond.

"This is an incredible time for Bruno Magli," said Cory M. Baker, Chief Operating Officer of Marquee Brands, parent company to Bruno Magli. "As we celebrate the brand's 80th Anniversary, our expansion into China and Japan with these strategic partners will help solidify our global growth with an already loyal customer base."

In the fall, the luxury Italian brand will launch an extensive, global ad campaign and re-launch women’s footwear with actress Lucy Liu serving as the category’s brand ambassador. Bruno Magli will also launch men’s tailoring, hosiery and bags and small leather goods, as well as women’s handbags and men’s and women’s timepieces.

Founded in 1936, Bruno Magli creates refined, handcrafted footwear, and today reinvents luxury essentials for a new generation. The brand has an existing business in South Korea and aims to become one of the leading luxury lifestyle brands in Asia.

Bruno Magli was acquired by Marquee Brands in 2015.
