Coach beefs up its European management team

Seeking to win over foreign markets, Coach, which is currently in full repositioning mode, has announced a reinforcement of its European management team.

The American leather goods brand announced the appointment of Fabrizio Stroppa as vice president of wholesale partnerships and Sadie Tew as vice president of retail and customer experience. Both positions are newly created.

"These positions correspond to the latest measures taken to expand our potential in both the retail and wholesale channels in Europe, as we begin the next phase of our development plan in this region," said Nigel Darwin, president of Coach Europe, without however revealing the contents of this plan.

Sadie Tew has worked at Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren, precisely seeing to retail expansion in Europe, and at Donna Karan and Nicole Farhi.

For his part, Fabrizio Stroppa was recently appointed commercial director at Hunter. Before that he was the sales director for Mulberry. He has also served as international sales and brand director for Donna Karan and Giorgio Armani in Japan and Milan.
