Gore-Tex : Achim Löffler head of shoes

A change at Gore-Tex. The manufacturer of technical wear has just promoted Achim Löffler to the position of international director of shoes, gloves and accessories. He succeeds Christian Langer, who after eight years in this position, will assist Mike McCollam in the management of the textile division.

43-years old, Achim Löffler has been working at Gore-Tex for 12 years. For nearly two years he has been in charge of sport and outdoor shoes. In his new role, he will also take on gloves and accessories.
For his part, Matthias Zaggl will head the sport and outdoor activity. Until now, Zaggl was in charge of the Gore running wear and Gore bike wear brands. Since mid-2013 Richard Leckenwalter has been responsible for the casual and children's footwear business
Famous for its membranes, W. L. Gore & Associates was founded in the United States in 1958 and generates revenue of around 3 billion US dollars.
