Jimmy Choo branded fragrances have performed well for the fragrance company, which recently increased 24% in sales and contributed to the company’s overall sales jump. The two companies entered into a 12-year deal in 2009 that included the production of women’s fragrances and later expanded to men’s fragrance in 2015.

The fragrance company this year said it would keep its licensing agreement with Jimmy Choo following its acquisition by Michael Kors. Interparfums was also rumored to acquire Jimmy Choo but denied the rumors.

"This new long-term partnership between Jimmy Choo and Interparfums represents an opportunity to develop the beauty business for the Jimmy Choo brand,” said Interparfums Chairman & CEO Jean Madar. “Growing a beauty business that emulates the Jimmy Choo DNA will require additional investments in product development over the long-term. We look forward to collaborating with Jimmy Choo to design perfume and cosmetic products that resonate with customers globally."

Interparfums said in October that it expects its full year 2017 revenue to increase 9% to 10% from fiscal 2016.
