Kanye West’s Yeezy Boost 350 sells out in minutes

Could it be that Kanye West’s claim that "the Yeezy jumped over the Jumpman" is coming true? For decades, the only sneakers that would sell out immediately upon release were Nike’s Air Jordans, but now Adidas has a competitor in Kanye West’s Yeezy sneakers.

The Yeezy Boost 350 sold out in 12 minutes in the United States and sold out in Canada and Europe within an hour, according to Footwear News. Adidas announced the official release of the sneaker on Saturday, June 27 and 12 minutes later announced that the sneakers had sold out online.
 
The sneaker was first unveiled at the Yeezy Season 1 presentation at NYFW in February. The company released the highly coveted Yeezy Boost 750 following the presentation, and it sold out just as quickly. It was restocked two weeks later but there is no guarantee that the Yeezy Boost 350 will get the same treatment.

Those that missed out on buying a pair of the $200 sneaker can find them on eBay, but unfortunately at prices ranging 10 to 50 times the original price tag.
