In mid-December, when he was forced to announce that Bread & Butter was filing for insolvency, the event’s co-founder, Karl-Heinz Müller, said that he might put on a more condensed alternative in the form of a "guerilla tradeshow." "Back to the street" has been confirmed with forty faithful brands to attend.

The entrepreneur had announced this intention in mid-December when he was forced to declare the show insolvent before a commercial court in Berlin.

But Bread & Butter now plans to put on "Back to the Street", to be held at its head office in Berlin, on 13 Münzstrasse, and at "The Blue Yard", at number 21 on the same street, in the central Mitte district. The event will present fall-winter 2015/16 collections from forty brands, including big names in the denim industry loyal to BBB. Denham, Nudies, Nigel Cabourn, Kings of Indigo, Mavi, Momotaro Jeans as well as Herrlicher, Drykorn, Stetson, Hanse, Komono, Freitag and Knowledge Cotton Apparel will all be participating.

The event aims to make itself open to the sector, the organization stating that no prior accreditation is required. With a selection of solid brands, attractive names and a more intimate space, the show is breaking with its extravagant past to adopt the scale that has been successfully employed by the likes of Seek and Bright.

It is noteworthy that Bread & Butter's new site continues to advertise its first Asian edition in Seoul.
