Kurt Geiger and Aldo team up for UK expansion

Kurt Geiger will take over Aldo’s concessions in the UK and Ireland, including existing concessions within department stores and online, as part of a new five-year partnership between the two footwear brands.

The Canadian shoe brand Aldo has joined forces with Kurt Geiger to operate its concessions business and implement an aggressive expansion strategy across the UK, with plans to open 26 new Aldo concessions in British and Irish department stores including Selfridges, Fenwicks, Debenhams, House of Fraser, Voisins and Arnotts from September.

At least 50 new Aldo locations are planned to open over the next three years.

The partnership will complement Aldo’s existing UK standalone stores and online sales channels, which will remain owned and operated by the Aldo Group.

Kurt Geiger is a leading footwear and accessories brand, operating in the premium and luxury segment. It has more than 80 stores globally and 240 concessions in some of the world’s most prestigious department stores, including Harrods and Selfridges.
