M.A.C launches a collection inspired by Marilyn Monroe
Marilyn Monroe, the eternal style icon, continues to be a source of inspiration for brands and for designers. To coincide with the 50th anniversary of the star's death, in October M.A.C Cosmetics will launch a limited edition of beauty products inspired by Marilyn Monroe.
Whilst the packaging will feature her image, the products are also faithful to the Hollywood glamour of the "Marilyn look" with false eyelashes, pressed powder and red lipstick. Prices will range from 14 euros for a lip pencil and 15 euros for nail varnish, to 23 euros for mascara. The collection will be available as of October in all M.A.C stores and on its website.
A fan of limited edition collections, M.A.C has already experimented with cosmetics lines inspired by Barbie and in collaboration with the singer Beth Ditto and former editor of French Vogue, Carine Roitfeld.
