The Franco-Japanese label created by Gildas Loaëc and Masaya Kuroki is upping its game in the Big Apple. After opening a thousand square-foot store in the Nomad Hotel, Maison Kitsuné chose the chic Lower East Side for its second location.

"A natural location for us," explained the creators. "The Lower East Side has a particular feel, a place where music and fashion meet, which is really representative of the brand."

At 5 Rivington street, former clothing store Cutie Room has thus been taken over by Maison Kitsuné's men's and womenswear collections. An approximately 750 ft² space that opens onto a courtyard with a typical New York style decor, with a tin ceiling, hardwood flooring, white walls and 1950s vintage objects.

A new space playing host to the brand's ready-to-wear and accessories collections as well as a limited edition collection of Maison Kitsuné Rivington sweatshirts and t-shirts.

Also worth noting, the recent release in France of a first collaboration with chocolatier Pierre Marcolini in the form of boxes of chocolates, available as of 22 April.
