Moda Operandi launches M2Malletier five-year anniversary capsule
Moda Operandi celebrates its partnership with luxury handbag brand M2Malletier with the launch of the label’s five year anniversary capsule.
The capsule collection is comprised of nine styles, including the Amor Fati and the new Minaudière clutch, crafted with materials such as eel, alligator, velvet and suede. The anniversary capsule is designed exclusively for Moda Operandi and prices begin at $1,115.
“When we were designing this collection,” said M2Malletier designers Melissa Losada and Marcela Velez, “we had the Moda woman in mind which we think is sophisticated – she admires the craftsmanship and details of each piece that we make with so much love.”
Colombian design duo Melissa Losada Bofill and Marcela Velez established M2Malletier in 2012 after meeting at Parsons School of Design in New York City. The label is available at retailers such as Bergdorf Goodman and Harrod's, and it launched on Monday an online store. According to the duo, the online retailer has been a key partner for M2Malletier for many years.
The launch of the five year anniversary capsule follows the launch of Christian Louboutin’s Rococo capsule on Moda Operandi. The American luxury retailer launched the limited-edition footwear capsule in August.
