Nike has a new chief information officer. As of June 29, Jim Scholefield will start at his new role as chief information officer (CIO).

Scholefield, who will report to COO Eric Sprunk, will be responsible for implementing and coordinating technical and technological solutions to support development and innovation at the American sports giant.
He is well familiar with this line of work. In joining Nike, he has left his former post as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at the Coca-Cola Company, where he was responsible for its worldwide information technology operations.
He has previously also worked at Northern Trust, Ford Motor Company and Procter & Gamble.
