Italian high-end lingerie and beachwear brand Parah has named Ferdinando Pandolfi to the newly created post of general manager.
"We felt it was necessary to add a new figure within the company to give a boost to our brand equity, and to develop marketing and distribution strategies for the Italian and international markets," said Parah CEO Gianluca Piazzalunga.
Pandolfi has a great deal of experience in the financial and operational sectors of fashion companies. With a degree in "Business Administration", he has worked for La Perla and Armani and has overseen significant financial restructuring operations within fashion companies.
From 2012 until September, he served as CEO of the Italian leatherwear brand Mandarina Duck, which is owned by the Korean company E-Land. He was replaced in early October by Dirk Vosswinkel.
Vosswinkel previously headed Mandarina Duck’s German subsidiary between 2003 and 2007. The German executive has also worked in the commercial and strategic departments of companies like Guess and Samsonite.
