In January, Japan's designers will be out in full force at Paris Fashion Week Men's. The tentative schedule for the 2016 winter edition features at least one Japanese contingent per day. Of the approximately fifty runway shows on the schedule for 20 to 24 January, eleven of them are from the Lan of the Rising Sun.

Christian Dada FW15/16 outfit - Pixel Formula

Alongside Yohji Yamamoto, Junya Watanabe, Issey Miyake and Comme des Garçons, labels Kolor and Sacaï have been showing for several seasons now. In 2016, Christian Dada, from designer Masanori Morikawa, joins the official calendar after several shows in the French capital. The 31-year old designer, whose women's collections are presented in Tokyo, explains that he chose the name for his label as a reference to Christian Dior and with a nod to the anarchist side of Dadaism. His work explores a dark, deconstructed universe, playing with leather and silk.

White Mountaineering FW15/16 outfit - Pixel Formula

White Mountaineering has also been present in Paris for two seasons but outside of the official calendar. The brand from Yosuke Aizawa is clearly focused on the quality of the materials it uses as well as the functionality of the clothing. His streetwear outfits voluntarily lead to the military style side. The label will clearly be at the forefront of the fashion world come the New Year. For its collaboration with Adidas it will also the guest of honour at Pitti Uomo.
