PVH Corp. revises role for Fred Gehring

PVH Corp. on Friday announced that it has entered into a new employment agreement with Fred Gehring, currently Executive Chairman, Tommy Hilfiger, and Vice Chairman, PVH Corp.

The agreement states that Gehring is to relinquish his role as Executive Chairman, Tommy Hilfiger. He will, however, continue in his role of Vice Chairman, PVH, serving as an advisor to Manny Chirico, PVH’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and the PVH Board on matters related to PVH’s business and growth strategies.

In connection with this change, Mr. Gehring will also step down as a member of PVH Corp.’s Board of Directors. The new agreement and arrangements are effective August 1, 2015.

Prior to joining Tommy Hilfiger, Fred served as CEO for Pepe Group Plc. in London and Amsterdam, and also held various executive positions within Polo Ralph Lauren, Europe. Fred started his career internationally in Honduras with Ceteco Trading, and for several years managed his own consulting business in New York specializing in advising European companies seeking to expand in the U.S.

PVH Corp. owns and markets the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands worldwide. It markets a variety of goods under its own brands and its licensed brands, which include Speedo, Kenneth Cole New York and MICHAEL Michael Kors.
