After opening three Boardriders centres in France (Paris-Bercy, Capbreton and Chamonix), Quiksilver is pursuing its strategy of establishing its presence in Western Europe with the launch of another Boardriders in Ericeira, Portugal. The new location has been named after Portuguese surfing legend Tiago Pires.

Found on the Atlantic coast, the ‘Boardriders-Tiago Pires’ centre covers a total area of 540 square metres and its interior design uses a mixture of wood, metal and other found objects. Its store offers the group’s various collections: Quiksilver, Roxy, DC and Moskova.
The space also includes corner bars and a lounge area with freely accessible computers and a Moskova gym designed for surfing professionals. On the outside, a 1200 m² skate park is available to local skaters and also to visitors who can rent the equipment there. Not to mention that the centre also offers a surf school.
Finally, on the 350 m² basement, one can find Quiksilver Portugal’s head office as well as a showroom for Portuguese designers. This initiative goes in line with the group’s new strategy to directly oversee their activities in Portugal.
