Ras to roll out global expansion, focus on Europe
The natural skincare brand Ras Luxury Oils is planning to continue to expand in India this year and also has its sights on Europe.
2018 is set to be a busy year for Ras Luxury Oils. The brand has launches planned across India including Mumbai and Kochi’s Grand Hyatt, as well as Bengaluru’s JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton.
The beauty brand also plans to open at the Grand Hyatt in Hong Kong and take part in international trade shows such as at Prestige Fairs in Hong Kong and at the Middle East Natural and Organic Products Expo in Dubai.
Ras co-Founder Shubhika Jain recently told Salon India: “We want our brand to have international exposure. We are working on expanding into Europe; being present at other international beauty platforms, organising exclusive events in Mumbai, and launching retail outlets in Delhi, Kolkata and Raipur.”
The time seems right for Ras to pursue international expansion as demand for natural and organic beauty products continues to rise.
Ras currently has a range of 25 beauty and wellness products including essential oils, body salts, face spritzes, and miniature kits. Products range from 400 rupees (approximately $6) to 2,350 rupees (approximately $36) for face elixirs. The brand is currently working on expanding its product portfolio as it expands internationally.
Ras Luxury Oils was co-Founded by mother and daughter duo Sangeeta Jain and Shubhika Jain who opened their first essential oil extraction plant in 2012 across 200 acres in Chhattisgarh.
The brand’s products currently retail from a number of spas and salons such as the St Regis Hotel and Four Seasons Hotel in Mumbai and Park Hyatt in Hyderabad.
Along with an own brand e-commerce store, Ras also retails internationally online through Nykaa, Etsy, and Amazon.
