Reed Krakoff to debut limited edition collection with Kohl’s

Kohl’s announced Wednesday that it has partnered with Reed Krakoff on a collection of handbags and apparel called, REED.
 
The REED collection consists of American sportswear-inspired apparel that feature novelty fabrics and prints, color-blocking and statement stripes. Handbags are at the core of the collection and reflect Krakoff’s expertise as a designer. Prices for the entire collection range from $15.00 to $129.00.

“The REED collection is inspired by iconic looks, with the emphasis on craftsmanship and quality synonymous with Reed Krakoff,” said Michelle Gass, Kohl's chief merchandising and customer officer. “Each piece is the perfect combination of function, elegance and fun, which we know will be sought-after by women across the country this spring. The collection also includes several options for women to personalize her look by quickly and simply adding an accessory. This provides even more opportunities for our customers to bring the products they love to life, in a way that works best for them.”
 
Krakoff is the Creative Director of his eponymous label, Reed Krakoff, which offers graphic and sculptural ready-to-wear, handbags and accessories, shoes, jewelry, fragrance and home design. He won the CFDA Award for Accessory Design three times in addition to other fashion and design awards. Krafoff also served as Executive Creative Director of Coach, Inc. from 1996 to 2013.

The REED collection by Reed Krakoff and Kohl’s is Krakoff’s first retail partnership. The collection will be available exclusively at Kohl’s stores and online for spring 2016.
