Safilo: Renon Massimo takes charge of EMEA region

Renon was previously global head of sales and after sales for Ferrari. In particular, he held various positions over 10 years at Safilo's rival, Luxottica.
Roberto Vedovotto, CEO, emphasizes the importance of this region, which represents 460 million euros in turnover.
In the first quarter 2012, sales in Europe fell by over 9%. Total net sales were down 4% to just over 288 million euros. Safilo has a portfolio of its own brands and licenses that include Gucci, Hugo Boss, Max Mara and Tommy Hilfiger.
