Following ten years in business, Stella Luna is climbing another step of the ladder. The high-end feminine Chinese footwear brand who went international just a couple of years ago, is ready to solidify its style. In order to forge a stronger product identity, Stella Luna has nominated its first Creative Director - Capucine Safyurtlu.

The brand’s founder, Stephen Chi, who comes from the family of specialist manufacturers who founded Stella International, will continue to supervisor the design. But Capucine Safyurtlu is already bringing her signature touch to the collection which will be evident as of Fall/Winter 2016-17.

Formerly Style and Image Director for Maje, Safyurtlu was recruited a couple of months ago as a consultant and managed to make herself indispensable to Stella Luna. With a new Creative Director, Stella Luna hopes to add a new dimension to its brand in search of fame.

A well-known fashion editor for Numéro and Vogue, Capucine Safyurtlu is continuing the path of a brand that has always had a European design team. Stella Luna has approximately 180 boutiques in China and about 15 in the Middle East. It also opened three stores in Paris (boulevard Saint-Germain, rue François 1er, rue Saint-Honoré) and a store in the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, three years ago.
