Eclectic British designer Vivienne Westwood will be opening her third store in the United States. After Los Angeles and Honolulu, the label will indeed have a monobrand store in New York as of this fall. Located in Midtown Manhattan's luxury shopping district, on 55th Street East, the 15,000 ft² 6-storey flagship will take up residence in a French Beaux Arts townhouse.

Vivienne Westwood New York will be the house's biggest store ever and will present a new design concept, which will combine modern and classic elements, mirroring the British style typical of the designer.

The flagship will stock three floors with products from Westwood's ready-to-wear collections, Gold Label, Red Label, Anglomania and Man, plus all of the designer's accessories lines, not to mention bridal designs and eveningwear from Gold Label Capsule. A selection from the Worlds End collection, which is usually sold only in the eponymous boutique in London, will also be available. The company’s administrative offices and showroom will occupy the remaining floors.

"As soon as we opened the Los Angeles flagship, we started looking at different areas in New York and found a great building with lots of history, which was once part of the St. Regis Hotel," said Cristiano Minchio, CEO of Vivienne Westwood America, adding "New York is an important step for us as a company, so we had to find a location which best represents our brand,"

The label currently has one monobrand store in Milan, eleven in the UK, one in Paris, and two in the US, in Los Angeles and Honolulu.
