Despite the ongoing threat of the coronavirus outbreak, Lisbon Fashion Week returned for another season on 5-8 March to celebrate local fashion, promote sustainability and strengthen its position on the global stage.
The Spanish Embassy in Paris hosted Leandro Cano's artistic "Ofrenda" collection this season, the Andalusian designer's first presentation in the French capital, for which he collaborated with eight Spanish artisans.
The swimwear fashion week, a leading event for the European industry, is committed to becoming more international. The next edition, taking place on 3-5 October, will count with the support of Ifema as its organiser.

“Spain is a highly creative country, with a large number of diverse and highly qualified designers. It is also the place where mass market trends are born,” Modesto Lomba said in an interview with FashionNetwork.com.
With the support of the French Federation of Women’s Ready-to-Wear, Prêt-à-Porter Paris is strengthening its partnerships abroad with both the Spanish Fashion Designers Association (ACME) and with American designers.
