The French label bought in 2018 by Chinese group Icicle is relaunching in Europe. It recently upgraded its website and dropped a new perfume, and has now revamped its long-established Champs-Elysées flagship in Paris.
Salvatore Ferragamo is in negotiations with fragrance group Interparfums, which produces perfumes for brands including Coach and Jimmy Choo, about a licensing deal for the development of its own fragrances.
The international fragrance company achieved net income of $27.7 million in the first quarter ended March 31, 2020, up 175% from $10.1 million in the prior-year period, and 47% from $18.9 million in Q1 2019.
The fragrance maker announced Q4 net income of $14.7 million on Monday, representing an 80% increase from $8.2 million in the same period in the previous year. The company also raised its financial outlook for 2021.
