The Swiss group announced on Tuesday the finalisation of its acquisition of the entirety of The Kooples Group. It has named Romain Guinier to the head of the French group, as revealed by FashionNetwork.com.
Following the French competition authority's approval of the group's acquisition of The Kooples, Thierry Guibert of Maus Frères, owner of Lacoste, Gant and Aigle, has confided the brand to Aigle's CEO.
For the first time, the French label will offer 15 looks from its runway shows in store. The pieces, designed by Louise Trotter, will be available for purchase in the brand's flagships, as well as in department stores.
