The Richemont-owned jewellery brand has chosen Earth Day to symbolically join the Carbon Neutral Challenge launched in 2019 by Gucci CEO Marco Bizzarri, with the goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
The luxury brand has reorganised its management in Greater China, separating its watch and jewelry business from its fashion business, which it has entrusted to Laurent Cathala, former president of Tiffany & Co.
After a disappointing Q3, the Kering group’s powerhouse bounced back to generate a revenue of €9.7 billion, up 31%, driven by direct-to-consumer sales and thanks to even more upmarket products and multiple initiatives.
Marco Bizzarri, who has led Kering's flagship brand since 2015, has taken a stake in the Italian investment firm focused on small and medium-sized companies, and has also become a member of its advisory board.
Kering's flagship label has announced that it has already surpassed its 2025 targets for the reduction of its environmental impact and has outlined the initiatives the company took in 2020 in terms of inclusivity.
