As Tranoï and the French Fashion Federation join forces, and Who’s Next and Mode & Objet confirm their dates, French trade shows are preparing their return, after cancelling several editions due to the pandemic.
On Tuesday December 8, global trend forecasting agency FashionSnoops is bringing together a number of fashion show top executives to try to find answers to the questions about the future of trade shows.
Playtime, the trade show dedicated to the world of children, has cancelled the winter editions due to be held in Paris, New York and Shanghai. Organiser Picaflor emphasised however that Playtime continues online.
Picaflor, organiser of the Playtime childrenswear shows, has decided to terminate the Las Vegas and Tokyo editions to focus on those in Paris, New York and Shanghai, between them catering to buyers the world over.
The children’s wear trade show Playtime will host its 26th edition in Paris from June 29 to July 1. Five hundred children’s fashion and lifestyle brands will take part in the event with the theme “Metamorphosis”.
Picaflor has announced that it will bring Playtime to Shanghai for the first time. The organiser of the children’s trade shows in Paris, New York, and Tokyo will host Playtime Shanghai from July 23 to 24, 2019.
