In an unexpected development, Boohoo-controlled fashion label PrettyLittleThing is to show during New York Fashion Week with a major event in the city. Founder Umar Kamani revealed the news on Instagram late on Tuesday.
Internet-based fashion group Boohoo has bought the online businesses of fashion chains Karen Millen and Coast, leaving a question mark over the fate of the two retailers’ stores and concessions in Britain.
Boohoo Group issued a trading update on Wednesday that may have been short but it was fairly sweet with the three months up to May 31 showing continued “strong growth across all brands in all regions.”
